This
was my first time participating in the ACSC/SOS Spring Safari Parade at Ocean
Drive in Myrtle Beach! The theme for the Winston-Salem Shag Club float
was a "Tribute to the USO"! Five of us "girls" danced in front of the float to
"Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "You Must Have Been a Beautiful
Baby". I had so much fun participating and was honored to be a nurse
and wear my Mother's nurse’s cap! We placed 2nd in Most Original Theme!
